One of Cameroon’s top movie actors Agbor Gilbert who is also the CEO of the Cameroon Film Industry (CFI) visited Prime minister Philemon Yang in the Yaounde, Star Building today December 14th. He was accompanied by his vice Chair Brenda Elung and Actress Solange Yijika.
Popular blogger, Maybelle Boma posted that, they discussed on issues affecting the youths, the industry and the way forward. After the meeting, Agbor Gilbert wrote
I feel like a tiger right now. There is nothing impossible of you get up and work for it. The Prime ministerof Cameroon His Excellency Philemon Yang is a very objective man. The light of peace and hope will soon shine. Dialogue is the way forward. Thank you sir.
Agbor Gilbert is one of the few actors to condemn violence in the Anglophone regions. He has been calling on the government seek solutions that will end the crisis.
In one of his posts, Agbor Gilbert said
“the only way for the government of Cameroon to say we are against succession is to show the people of the Anglophone Zone Love, compassion, solidarity… Now they will feel as part of the country.”
